Well, astrology readings should be viewed as mere guides, not directing forces in one’s life.

Mariaduval,
Thanks for your comment. Chinese astrology is amazingly more accurate than I can explain by all the sciences that I've learned. It's especially true about predicting personality.

Thanks for sharing, Khyron.

6 minutes! That seems to be too much. Actually, if you just put in your birth date & time, and then plot out the natal chart for plus and minus 10 minutes, most of the time, all of your planets will still be in the same House, while the aspect angles may change somewhat. For planets right at the edges of the House (or aspect angles for that matter), it is possible that you end up with a different natal chart. But I think in majority of the cases, you will have very similar natal chart. You can easily try that out at astro.com. And if you just know approximately your birth time, it's possible to get close to the time by cross-referencing the personality and the chart information.

From my experiences, there are more people who stay the way they were born than people who were able to make more changes in their lives. And there are things that are simply hard to change. Despite our supposed "free wills", the changes that we can make are probably less than what we think. But of course, everyone supposedly is able to make a tremendous change in their projected life (from natal chart), as long as they have the will power.

My friend who got me into astrology (of the western flavor) told me that you need to know your birth time to within 6 minutes for the natal chart to be accurate.

Another friend whom I also consider to be a spiritual guide told me that the natal chart is just a snapshot of who you came into this world as. You do not have to remain that person unless you chose to; it just lets you know what you started with in this life, and where you have growth and learning to undertake in this life.

YMMV.
