Zecco seems to be good. I haven’t looked into it, but it’s definitely a great deal for investors.

Sorry, it’s tough to follow all my comments through the blogosphere. Unfortunately at the time that made up the portfolio, I had lost my job due to the dot-com bust. So it was just hypothetical Yahoo money. Anyway, it returned about 65,000 in that time – or a 12.8% increase. I picked that specific time to create it because I felt like the markets were really at a low. I think I hit it pretty close to right too.

I’ve been thinking of signing up with Zecco and doing this with a much smaller scale and with automatic deposits. I actually have some 401k money that should consolidate in a rollover IRA, which may allow me to do this on a big level

I did a similar exercise 4 years ago and revisited it just last month. I didn't completely revisit it and study all the new ETFs that had been created since, but more or less went with a blue-print of allocation ideas and potential matching ETFs. I will be bookmarking this post for future reference and might look into it when I get a Zecco account up and running.
