I prefer CEF (Central fund of Canada) which is 50% gold and 50% silver due to its better tax treatment (capital gains rate vs 28% collectibles rate) and audit procedure.  It&#039;s a closed end fund so carries a premium.  You also have to file a form 8621 (?) each year if holding in a taxable account.

Also check out DBP(?) which uses futures and also has better tax treatment.</description>
