I need a new laptop computer!

Sorry I just couldn’t finish my post on the most important things on investing for the next decade. My laptop reset 3 times on me.
Come back tomorrow if you will. I’m going into my trading pits now.

Hi Frugal,
For a new laptop I highly recommend the Dell Vostro series… my wife and I just picked up 2 for about $1000 and they had very good memory and processor speeds… good luck.

I agree with Big Cheese about the Dell Vostro. I purchased a Vostro 1000 last month for $449 + tax from dell.com and have been very happy with it thus far.

Speaking of Dell. I have bought my last two from the Dell Outlet store. If you aren’t scared of refurb, then you can get some great deals. I got a high end 17″ laptop for less than $700 (good enough for software development machine). Word of Caution for Dell, do not expect good customer service. Theirs is horrible, but I like the machines too much at those prices not to buy from them.

Yes, I have been looking at Dell’s. I don’t think I can wait anymore. Probably go into Best Buy and pick up one this weekend.
