No, you can not save all the homeless animals. But you can adopt one or two from a shelter, making all the difference for that animal. You can not clean up an entire neighborhood, but you can pick up a couple of pieces of litter. You can not right all the injustice in the world, but you can stand up for what you believe is right. If you have no money, you can donate your time, as a vouluteer on some project that touches your heart. Life is short. You have about 70 years (plus or minus) to do whatever you want to do. Not a great deal of time. But as you point out, even someone who died young did make a difference, at least to one person- you! Now go out there, and pay it forward for another person.
